A Few Good Men: Can You Handle the Truth?
Pulling from Military Movies and Experiences to help you win
Good morning, Icons,
We are back with new content for November.
This month we are celebrating our military veterans.
These are men and women who answered the call to sacrifice up to their lives for this nation as service men and women in uniform.
If you have served, we honor and thank you here at Iconic.
We are going to pull this month’s lessons from my own military experiences and from
military training, entertainment and more to empower you.
You can be all that you can be in your life, love, marriage and family if you step up with the right person.
And that is Iconic.
A Few Good Men: Can You Handle the Truth?
We are dropping a new episode of “Mrs. Pinky Thoughts”, my podcast, titled after the 1992 movie starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore and Jack Nicholson.
Daniel (Tom Cruise) has no choice but to call Nathan Jessup (Nicholson) to the stand as a witness. This bold move runs the risk of getting Daniel arraigned in court for disrespecting an officer of a higher ranking. Daniel, however, has a plan to get Nathan to confess to the crime unknowingly. Daniel uses the fact that he lied during his initial questioning about William’s request for transfer. Caught in his lie in front of the court, Nathan loses his composure and begins to rant uncontrollably further incriminating himself and his second in command Kendrick. Nathan is placed under arrest and Jonathan Kendrick is later arrested. Harold and Louden are acquitted of murder charges but are found unfit for military service. They are discharged dishonorably. A Few Good Men Summary | GradeSaver
Listen as we discuss why we need a few good men and how that can change the trajectory of a nation.
A lot of relationship information out there tends to say that they are telling you the truth. That they are wrapping their stuff in tough love and giving you the hard reality of life in a way to inspire you.
Are they doing that though? Or are they hiding insecurities, grievances, lies and more hurtful things behind the bravado and false veneer of tell you the truth.
Can you handle the truth? Here is the real truth. Marriage is still a life hack, a win.
The truth is that despite what many will tell you, marriage is still beneficial when you do it right with the right person.
