Breaking Free from Fear: How True Leaders Push Past their Limits
A few days ago, Twitter user “Tree of Logic” from TreeofLogic.com posted a Tweet as follows:
This video is from the 2016 Paralympics featuring Libby Clegg and her guide Chris Clarke. Men and women need each other and we can both WIN when we work together. Losers like Tim Pool and other insecure Manosphere/Red Pill men want to divide us. Don't let them succeed. United we stand, divided we fall!
Thank you, Tree. You are doing great work to help men and women unite under truth instead of nonsense.
Tree has been a consistent messenger against the negativity coming out of the manosphere/red pill space that is set to divide men and women.
Her fight has been effective, but her latest example is such a perfect one! (I had to write a newsletter on this!!)
I had to let you guys know why.
Paralympics athlete Libby Clegg with her Guide Chris Clarke ran in the 200m relay race as team.
This was a man and a woman working together to achieve a goal.
Only he could see the Vision, because Libby was Blindfolded.
This was the PERFECT example of how men are to be the visionaries of their relationship and actually lead wives in marriage.
The wife in this example, Libby, is a capable and abled bodied running but NEEDED her guide to tell her know where to go.
That is how marriage works.

Now, don’t get me wrong. There were other great athletes out there with their guides.
But the difference in an Iconic marriage and others, is winning.
And Glegg and Clarke hadn’t had it easy or have always won. They didn’t do great in the 100m.
They were worried.
But she trusted her guide!
Watch the video. The guides have to help them into the starting block. They have to set them up to even begin the race.
But these women have to still use their own two feet to get their job done.
And she did it in 24.51 seconds and won goal in Rio in 2016!

How True Leaders Push Past their Limits
Fear is not an option.
These women athletes cannot see with blindfolds on. They have to push past their limitations to achieve their goals.
They are leaders.
In fact, the Paralympics is just that, leaders who do the unthinkable.

As a two-time Army combat veteran, I know a thing or two about how difficult it is to run with both my eyes wide open.
A leader pushes past their limits. A leader also motivates those that are under their charge.
Again, this is the perfect example for how men and women are to function in a healthy marriage.
Paralympic athletes compete in six different disability groups—amputee, cerebral palsy, visual impairment, spinal cord injuries, intellectual disability, and “les autres” (athletes whose disability does not fit into one of the other categories, including dwarfism). Within each group, athletes are further divided into classes on the basis of the type and extent of their disabilities. These athletes and their guides do what it takes to win.
That is not the same type of authoritarian leadership that is coming out of these red pill spaces in which submission is demanded without care for the individual that is being asked.
The misogyny and the way women are described as lesser than in some of these circles is disgusting.
Clegg’s guide Clarke didn’t just lead her, he believed in her. He believed that she could run the race by his side.
He was her leader, a present help to make sure the overall objective was achieved.
They made the perfect team and proved it with a win.
You cannot marry someone that you believe is beneath you and think that is the key to a successful union.
Marriage doesn’t work that way.
It works when everyone who is involved does their best where they are capabale.
Proverbs 31 is a great example of this in which the virtuous woman is praised by her family, she works, and she gets up early for them.
What does fearless leadership in marriage look like?
First, it is faith in God and in your spouse.
Second, it is effective.
Effective leaders and effective marriages have three things in common: 1. Leaders and partners learn from their experiences. 2. They learn how to adapt to changing conditions. 3. They pay attention and anticipate probable future problems. Leadership and Marriage - Couples Institute
Lastly, it is long lasting.
When leaders push past being afraid of the obstacles that may come, they win at whatever their goals happen to be.
