This year, during our Women’s and Men’s Empowerment Months, Iconic Marriages did more than celebrate—we activated. We recognized and supported moms and dads doing extraordinary work in their communities, often with little recognition and even less rest.
Because of your belief and generosity, we were able to give back in tangible ways to those standing in the gap:
Women’s Empowerment Month in March: Lifting Up the Quiet Warriors
This month I dedicated our content, fundraising and work to my late Aunt “Mickey” Mary Harvin, wife, mother, grandmother, and co-pastor woman of God who passed last December. Not only is she missed as a strong warrior of God, she was also an active member of our Iconic community. Because of her we were able to recognize her legacy and the work of other women.
We honored:
Single moms navigating medical trauma, trauma, and caregiving with fierce grace
Veteran mothers who served our country and now serve their families with the same courage
Ministry leaders pouring into other women while quietly carrying their own burdens
Medical advocates helping families access care, answers, and dignity
Women in general who stepped up to build their businesses, community and each other
Your donations helped cover groceries, medical needs, and emotional support resources. You didn’t just give—you restored dignity by showing people they still matter. You did it without judging and without even knowing their names
🧔🏽♂️ Kingdom Fatherhood Month: Honoring the Men Who Build in Silence
In June, Iconic Marriages turned its full attention to the men who often go unseen—the fathers, mentors, and community builders whose quiet strength holds families together.
Through our Kingdom Fatherhood Initiative, we didn’t just celebrate dads—we empowered them.
We raised funds to provide scholarships for fathers doing extraordinary work in their homes, careers, and communities. These weren’t just financial gifts—they were acts of honor.
Honoring Legacy: Clarence and Ronnie
We awarded scholarships in memory of Clarence, my late father—a man who modeled integrity, provision, and quiet leadership.
We also honored the creative spirit of Ronnie, my brother, by supporting dads who wanted access to art and music resources—tools to help them express, heal, and connect with their children.

Dads mentoring youth after long shifts
Fathers fighting for parenting rights with dignity
Men using music and art to bond with their kids
Leaders advocating for prison reform and emotional safety
Husbands showing up for their families with love, not ego
These men weren’t asking for applause. But we gave it anyway—because honor is overdue.

Why This Matters: Societal Issues Start at Home
Research shows that many of our deepest societal challenges—violence, poverty, mental health struggles—are rooted in family instability and unmet emotional needs. When families lack support, children carry that weight into classrooms, relationships, and communities.
According to CASEL, social and emotional learning starts at home, and when families are equipped, children thrive across every setting.
Building strong homes not only creates stable families, but it gives families vision towards something greater, this strengthens communities that will then make demands of their political leaders in local, state, national and worldwide governments. When people see that they have something they’ve built with time and hard work, they are more likely to get involved in leadership areas to protect what they’ve build.
