Today on my To-Do List is laundry, homeschooling, grocery shopping, and more. I manage all of this through a set of lists, apps, reminders and more. And I had the best teacher, my mom.

My own mother raised 6, was a babysitter for my aunt’s 7, has 12 grandchildren and all her “adopted” kids that extends far and wide. Whenever I compliment her, and I try to often, she says that she has no choice, she had to do what needed to be done.

I use her guidance, wisdom, strong faith, resilience to lean on when I feel like it is all too much.

Yes, I juggle disabilities being ex-military, I have a degree, I run Iconic, and yet, I don’t measure up to my mom at all. But I have learned a few things that I’d love to share with you all today and during our Kingdom Motherhood eSeries. That’s because we moms may need a nudge every now and again to keep us going strong.

We moms could always use another mom, or two, to help us. And to the husband and fathers out there, we appreciate you too. You can use this time to honor the mothers in your lives, learn a thing or two how to continue to assist them and more.

Motherhood is one of the most sacred callings, and for moms striving to achieve Kingdom Motherhood, the journey is deeply rooted in faith, grace, and purpose. Kingdom Motherhood is about raising children not just to be successful in the world, but to be spiritually strong, compassionate, and Christ-centered. Here are 10 essential tips to help moms everywhere embrace this calling:

1. Establish a Strong Relationship with God

Everything flows from your connection with the Lord. Dedicate time daily for prayer and scripture reading, allowing His wisdom to shape your motherhood journey.
