How I elevate Voices: Local and National Groups Supporting Married Couples and Families

In the last months of 2024, Our Iconic Cares eSeries has been gaining momentum: elevating voices to support married couples and families in their journey towards economic development, strategic planning, business growth, and generational wealth. We have been giving your insight to groups in Georgia and the nation that are doing the work to active help build American communities. Whether it is in antigun violence advocacy, hurricane cleanup, or special needs work, Iconic wants to show our thanks by listing these groups as resources our members can reach out to and/or support for help. Today’s post highlights some of the key local Georgia and national groups making a significant impact in these economic areas for families.

Local Groups in Georgia

Iconic Marriages is our org here that helps revitalize, restore and reignite the institute of marriage through empowering men and women to build thriving social empires. We know that other groups exist with specific goals to help couples thrive, too. Below are few local ones that we hope to collaborate with in the future.

1. Better Marriages of Georgia: This local chapter of the national Better Marriages organization is dedicated to educating couples and building stronger relationships1. They offer resources, workshops, and an annual retreat to help couples strengthen their bonds and navigate challenges together1.

2. The Relationship House: Located in Marietta, Georgia, this health institution provides couples counseling, individual therapy, and workshops to help individuals and couples build and maintain healthy, fulfilling relationships2.

3. Cura Couples and Family Therapy Center of Atlanta: CURA offers therapeutic services to couples, families, and individuals, focusing on building strong, bonded relationships and providing tools for managing life stressors3.

4. Georgia - Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood: This program provides marriage and relationship education, aiming to promote better marriages and responsible fatherhood through various resources and events4.

National Groups

Iconic Marriage also hopes to grow into a national organization that prioritizes work with families and across the nation. We know with your continued support we will grow and do the same.

1. National Healthy Marriage Resource Center (NHMRC): NHMRC is a clearinghouse for quality information and resources on healthy marriage and relationship education5. They offer training, research-based videos, articles, and interactive tools to support couples and individuals5.

3. National Marriage Week USA: This initiative focuses on promoting the value of marriage and providing resources to help couples strengthen their relationships7. They organize events and provide toolkits to support their mission7.

4. Encouragement and Enrichment - For Your Marriage: This organization offers resources and support to help couples build stronger marriages and raise their children well8. They emphasize the importance of making marriage a priority and seeking enrichment opportunities together8.

Economic Development and Strategic Planning

Supporting families in their economic development and strategic planning is crucial for long-term success. Programs like the American Families Plan and the Family Economic Mobility Toolkit provide resources and training to help families achieve financial stability and growth910. These initiatives focus on high-quality care, family leave, and universal pre-K, enabling parents to enter the workforce and support their families9.

Building Generational Wealth

Building generational wealth involves making strategic financial decisions that extend beyond individual prosperity11.
