When I look back at the journey that birthed my first book, Breaking Fear, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Many of you don’t realize that your donations didn’t just help me write a book—they carried me through one of the darkest valleys of my life.
Years ago, after the death of our child, I was swallowed by grief so deep that I wanted to end my own life. It was a season of despair, where hope felt impossible. But God’s grace met me there. My husband and I fought through the pain together, and slowly, redemption began to take root.
Your dollars funded the training and resources that allowed me to write Breaking Fear.
Training, I received through the Felecia Killings Foundation, sparked something new. That single book became a lifeline—not just for me, but for countless others. What started as one testimony of survival and faith has now multiplied:

🌍 A global bookstore now carries my work, reaching hearts as far as Canada—like the pastor who found encouragement in our message

Every page, every workshop, every family touched—it all began with your generosity. You didn’t just give money; you gave me the chance to transform grief into legacy, despair into hope, and fear into faith.

Why This Matters: Societal Issues Start at Home
Research shows that many of our deepest societal challenges—violence, poverty, mental health struggles—are rooted in family instability and unmet emotional needs. When families lack support, children carry that weight into classrooms, relationships, and communities.
According to CASEL, social and emotional learning starts at home, and when families are equipped, children thrive across every setting.
Building strong homes not only creates stable families, but it gives families vision towards something greater, this strengthens communities that will then make demands of their political leaders in local, state, national and worldwide governments. When people see that they have something they’ve built with time and hard work, they are more likely to get involved in leadership areas to protect what they’ve build.
