Being speechless is not a way someone who describe me. I had “talks too much” on my report card and people called me chatty as a kid. I had the mouth and voice but I wasn’t effective.
Growing up in a family of eight, you had to fight to be heard and often that lead to me frustrating people to get some words in. It was crazy and it stuck with me as I grew up.
It isn’t just important to speak but it important to leave an impact.
How do you speak in such a way to move mountains, bring down a tyrant, change the trajectory of a country and motivate others to do great things?
You use your voice. You use your voice, well.
Speaking is more than just the air vibrating over your coal cords. Your word choice, your tone, your accent, the words you choose when you speak all matter.
