I stumbled upon this post in the Substack Notes section. You did a marvioulous job showing the difference between perfection and greatness, and how people can learn from that and become better. Too often we ignore faults, or we make them into mountains that undue a person's whole legacy. Forgiveness and healing are forgotten. But you point out how that is needed for ourselves and others. Thanks for this post!

Thank you for you compliment. I knew people would question Dr. Kings legacy when it came to his personal life and his mistakes. I wanted to use that to encourage people because sometimes we hold ourselves back because of our past. His example shows that mistakes and greatest don't have to be opposed.
