Last month we celebrated Strong Dad June. And I started the month off with celebrating my dad.

I could say so many things about his determinations, strength, resilience and we’d be here for a week.

But I want to repost what I already talked about that he taught me to reinforce the importance of the father/daughter relationship and to rehash some of the points made in that newsletter.

For context, in 2003 my grandmother, his mom passed away at the age of 62. And with the numerous health struggles my father has had, reaching today was a special goal of his.

Don’t Give Up

Marriage is not easy, but it is doable.

Most times we don’t have the right resources, the right upbringing or just choose the wrong partners and that is why relationships fail.

My husband and I boiled down our relationship to a single ideology that has kept us together for 12 years through a lot of unforeseen circumstances that we have pushed through; we never gave up.
